Don't give up bread
45% of the daily required energy is easiest to get from bread or pasta, so don't avoid it.

Cutting bread or pasta from your diet is not a wise decision, especially if you don’t know how to compensate for the deficit in another way. The problem is not with bread itself, but with the quantity.

Carbohydrates are an integral part of food and help maintain a stable body temperature. This is important both in winter and in summer. It is true, however, that carbohydrates are various types of sugar, starch, or glycogen, all of which are important elements in the liver and muscles. If you give them up, you need to have a very good understanding of the processes taking place in our body.

The biggest concern, according to nutritionists, is with proteins, which the body can use as basic building blocks to replace dead cells, but it can also use them as a source of energy when other elements are insufficient. And this – using proteins for energy – is a bad scenario that can even harm the body.

The downside of sugar in the form of carbohydrates is that it suppresses appetite, which can cause a false appetite and, consequently, obesity.

And not only that ...

Carbohydrates in the form of sugar also harm the teeth, and often internal organs as well.

Experience shows that you should not eat less than 70% of the recommended daily amount of energy. If you eat less, it is actually healthier to allow yourself a treat, especially with bread, before the end of the day. Why?

It’s true that industrial bread does not contain many nutrients, but homemade bread made from selected ingredients, for example a slice of wholegrain bread, can strengthen the body’s function. Such bread, in such conditions, does not cause weight gain or harm the body.

Furthermore, cold pasta or bread breaks down more slowly, so it takes longer to enter the bloodstream, which is also much less dangerous.

Therefore: if you stick to the prescribed amounts and haven’t indulged in the past week, proteins from healthy sources are highly recommended...

Of course, everything in moderation.
