Carrots are very popular vegetables, and because they contain a lot of beta-carotene, which promotes the production of vitamin A, they are well known for improving eye and skin health. But there are many other benefits you can take advantage of—if you just add a bit of honey.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 kilogram of carrots
  • 5 tablespoons of honey
Preparation:

Clean the carrots and slice them into rounds. Place them in a pot and add enough water to cover them completely. Bring the water to a boil and let it simmer until the carrots are soft. Then, remove the pot from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.

Next, mash the carrots into a puree. Let it cool further to room temperature (the ideal temperature is 36{-15696}C), and only then add the honey. Mix well, pour it into a glass jar, and store it in a cool, dark place.

Eat 3 to 4 tablespoons a day, ideally before each meal.

This mixture is highly effective in preventing and treating colds and coughs, reducing mucus in the lungs, and it's rich in vitamin C and B-complex vitamins. It strengthens the immune system and protects against flu, colds, and other respiratory illnesses.
