Ann Louise Gittleman’s recipe from the book Fat Flush Plan combines blueberries, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a refreshing drink that supports kidney function and detoxifies the body.
Decades ago, when
Ann Louise Gittleman first published this recipe in her book, it was considered an exceptional slimming drink, but it was only later discovered to be incredibly effective for detoxifying the body, supporting kidney function, cleansing the intestines, and improving blood health... Even the liver, our largest detoxifying organ, will thank you. With the help of this drink, your body will more easily regulate blood sugar. And lastly, you will get rid of fat deposits.
In her book, Gittleman mentions a 3-day diet of drinking this beverage, which is not only an extremely effective slimming cure, but also a very healthy break from everyday industrial foods, which clog our bodies.
And what are the ingredients of the magic drink?- 200 grams of blueberries or cranberries
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- juice of one orange
- juice of one lemon
- sweetener (to taste)
Ingredients: Blend all ingredients well in a blender (blend for at least 3 minutes, so the blueberry seeds won’t bother you), and finally add the orange and lemon juice. If possible, use grated fresh ginger, as it has a richer flavor. Add the same amount of water as juice, and place everything in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
Drink a glass on an empty stomach and before each meal. In addition to everything else, the drink reduces hunger and is a real vitamin and energy bomb.
One more thing... If you wish, you can add a sweetener to the drink. Use stevia, honey, or any healthy syrup. A spoon or two won’t be a problem.
