The Treasure of Health: Roasted Garlic
Garlic is one of the healthiest foods, and roasted garlic will also impress you with its taste!

Roasted garlic doesn't leave as strong of a smell as fresh garlic, so you can eat large quantities of it. And you will, once you spread it on bread for the first time. You won't find a tastier and healthier spread anywhere.

Just to refresh your memory: garlic is healthier and more effective than centaury. It is beneficial for the heart, lowers blood pressure, prevents the formation of cholesterol in the liver, and reduces the level of harmful cholesterol in the blood. It is a natural antibiotic, helps against streptococcus, fungi, and various viruses. It cures inflammations, colds, flu, and even ear and mouth inflammations. It relieves catarrh and herpes. In the intestines, garlic prevents putrefaction and thus encourages the reproduction of lactic acid bacteria, which helps maintain a balanced intestinal flora. It prevents the formation of intestinal gases, various cramps, diarrhea, and prevents internal bleeding. It rejuvenates the brain, strengthens the immune system, and even helps treat Alzheimer's disease.

But the most important thing about garlic is the antioxidants, which are proven to have the power to protect the body against cancer. According to the American Institute for Cancer Research, garlic is ranked number one among food products that prevent cancer. This is also confirmed by statistics, as in Shandong, China, where they eat at least one clove of garlic a day, stomach and intestinal cancers are almost unknown.

That’s why you'll surely be impressed by the roasted garlic spread. And it's also easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
  • clove of garlic

  • olive oil

  • spices to taste

Preparation:

Cut off the top and bottom of the garlic clove to get a garlic disc. There is no need to remove the peel. Place such a clove on aluminum foil, pour olive oil over it, salt and pepper it, you can also add a bit of basil, and wrap everything in the foil. Put the prepared garlic in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.

Before using the garlic, remove the peel, and the center will be so soft you’ll easily spread it on bread. You’ll get an even better taste if you toast the bread a little as well.

You can watch the entire process in the video below.
