Water is the only food that has no calories and that neutrally affects the digestive tract. Spoon dishes are actually diluted dishes, and therefore not too aggressive for the stomach. In addition, the average stomach volume for an adult is around 800 ml (actually between 1.6 and 2.4 liters, but it's never completely empty), which means it's easier to fit a bowl of warm soup in it than fried meat.
Of course, liquid food by itself does not ensure you get enough nutrients, and even smoothies, which have recently become so popular, are not meant to be made by simply throwing in everything we have (although that's what we most often do). Even with liquid food, the rule is that the fruit and vegetable part should predominate.
However, we must warn you about two things that are often forgotten ...
If you mainly eat liquid food, avoid teas. Not all, but some of them cause dehydration, which exhausts the body. Instead of losing weight, you will actually gain it.
Another tip: most liquid foods can be stored in the freezer, as long as you haven’t added potatoes, rice, or pasta to them.
