Is it really impossible to make a healthy pizza?
Pizzas are considered to be among the forbidden foods that make you gain weight, clog your arteries, raise your blood sugar ... Yet despite all of this, we offer you some tips on how to make a healthy pizza.

Pizza, sweet carbonated drinks, and fried potatoes are the most common fast foods in the USA. In Europe, things aren’t much better, the main difference being that here we also eat a lot of various sausages. Unfortunately for many, all of this food is fattening and burdens your digestion, so you really shouldn’t eat it too often. Instead, rather make your own healthy pizza at home and you won’t feel guilty about it.

The making of a healthy pizza starts with the flour. Don't make the dough from white flour, which is unhealthy, but use whole grain flour instead. In general, try to use whole grain flour as often as possible, since you’ll feel full for longer and it’s better for your digestion as well.

The next thing is tomatoes, which are extremely rich in antioxidants. Tomatoes are almost a miracle cure for cancer, and they also help with cell regeneration. You’ll often hear that tomatoes heal and rejuvenate. Definitely put as much tomato as possible on your pizza. Your hair and skin will especially thank you.

Due to its high calcium content, cheese is the next essential ingredient of a healthy pizza. Be careful though, because cheeses usually have a lot of calories, but if you use mozzarella, you won’t have these problems. Mozzarella has a low fat content, so it should be an essential ingredient in your healthy pizza.

Does meat belong on a healthy pizza? Absolutely, but instead of fatty meats, choose turkey or chicken, or even better—shrimp.

And finally—vegetables. On your healthy pizza, don’t be stingy with onions, olives, peppers, broccoli; green vegetables (spinach, arugula, even radicchio) are a must...

Season everything only with oregano and capers. Avoid salt, or use it very sparingly.
