Oatmeal together with flaxseeds is a real balm for digestion. The great thing about this recipe is that you can prepare it three days in advance.
Ingredients:- 4 cups of water
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 apple
- 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
Preparation: First, bring the water to a boil, then add the oats, flaxseeds, apple (peel it and cut it into very small cubes), cinnamon, and maple syrup. Let it cook for two minutes. Stir occasionally.
Remove the pot from the heat, you can also mix in a little vanilla, and for a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of salt. Mix everything well and let it stand overnight.
The next morning, heat the prepared mixture over medium heat; when serving, you can add a bit more cinnamon and maple syrup.
