A new study by scientists from Campinas State University in Brazil showed that the combination of green tea and cocoa effectively reduces problems with diabetes. Both ingredients contain polyphenols, which have excellent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which have been shown to be very effective for diabetes as well as kidney problems.
Cocoa and green tea also have a positive effect on the heart and nervous system, as they act as a vasodilator (widen blood vessels) and a diuretic (remove and cleanse water from the body).
In addition, cocoa lowers systolic blood pressure.
So how do you prepare the healing mixture?
First, brew green tea without any additives and wait for it to cool. Mix a spoonful of cocoa with a cup of tea, and try to drink it as hot as possible.
