Next time you open the fridge, think of this article. We present foods that don’t make you gain weight no matter how much you eat.

This is not food without calories. Even less so empty food without vitamins and minerals. This is simply food where our body uses more energy than it gets from it. Some of these foods will definitely surprise you…

Tomatoes
Tomatoes are full of lycopene, vitamins A, C, B2, folic acid, chromium, and potassium. They have almost no calories, yet their nutrient content is among the most important for our body. You can eat fresh, natural tomatoes as much as you like.

Popcorn
Homemade popcorn, or air-popped popcorn, will practically not affect your weight. And you won’t believe it: popcorn you buy at the cinema is also air-popped and does not fatten you. Remember that!

Proteins
You can also eat as much protein as you want. Especially if they’re plant-based, or at least dairy or egg-based… It’s true you can add tomatoes to proteins and prepare a tasty omelet, but be careful with frying and saut{-15447}ing. Never use refined oil.

Peas
Peas contain extremely few calories (in a cup with 100 grams of peas, there are 35 calories). In addition, they are rich in fiber and protein.

Melon

Arugula
2 cups of arugula (that’s 200 grams) have only 10 calories. If you add a bit of grated cheese and season it all with olive oil, you get an exceptionally healthy meal.

Lettuce
Lettuce contains a lot of vitamins A and C, and is rich in folic acid and iron, with extremely low calories. You can safely eat an entire bowl of green lettuce.

Cucumbers
Cucumbers are also full of water (like celery). Most of the calories are in the peel, but so are most of the nutrients, of which beta-carotene is the most important for your eyes. Nutritionists suggest you never peel cucumbers.

Cauliflower
It’s best eaten fresh and contains lots of vitamins C and K.

Broccoli
In addition to vitamins A, C, E, and K, it also contains lots of fiber (20% of daily needs).

Grapefruit
Grapefruit helps stabilize blood sugar levels. Like all citrus fruits, it is rich in vitamin C, but especially with grapefruit, you should eat at least one after every meal. By doing only this, you would lose weight.

Blueberries
Blueberries stand out because they have more antioxidants than any other fruit. They can quickly help overcome any hunger pangs, have very few calories, and therefore do not make you gain weight.
