Too much sugar? No worries!
Have you eaten too much sugar? No worries! With this trick, you can correct your mistake.
 
After consuming too much sugar, many people make the mistake of lying down to sleep, but the facts are quite the opposite. If you want to get the excess sugar out of your body, use these tricks:

More movement
Can’t stop yourself when a tray of sweets is in front of you? Hmm ... That’s really a problem! An especially big problem, since it used to be believed that the only solution was to lie in bed and wait for your blood sugar level to drop (meaning: for insulin to do all the necessary breakdown - in younger people this happens faster than in older).

But today we know that you can solve this problem in just 15 minutes if you go for a light walk. It’s important to move for 15 minutes and breathe deeply, and your body will do everything that would otherwise take two hours of sleep.

It's true that two hours of sleep would clean up the sugar more thoroughly, but 15 minutes of walking can be enough for the value to drop to an acceptable range.

Tea with lemon
Another way to lower sugar is to drink a cup of green tea to which you’ve added juice from a whole lemon. Don’t add any sugar, no honey, and you can even upgrade the lemon juice by adding the fleshy part of the lemon (don’t forget, the white fleshy part has the most vitamins).

Remember, if your menu includes foods that cause acidity, it’s always good to have something to counterbalance it.

A similar rule applies to sugar, so during festive days that tempt us, always keep enough lemons and green tea on hand, which also contains plenty of antioxidants that are good for a host of other conditions (joint issues, blood vessels, heart, hormones ...).

Smoothie
Use lots of fruit, especially berries, no sugar, plenty of avocado, green leafy vegetables (always have enough spinach) ... For such a smoothie, instead of milk, kefir, or yogurt, dilute it with lukewarm water, because in this case, such a mixture will deal with excess sugar more quickly. Keep in mind that your stomach has space for 7 dcl, so it's very important to dilute the smoothie enough to create a feeling of fullness in your stomach. No need to overdo it!
