Only animal-based jelly has the kind of collagen responsible for firm structure in humans, and it contains some key amino acids that help strengthen connective tissues (remember that after the age of 50, the body produces hardly any collagen).
Foods richest in collagen are: lentils, peas, fava beans, chickpeas, beans, millet, buckwheat, quinoa, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, flax and hemp seeds. But even more important is a fact scientists discovered only recently. The combination of pure collagen and especially vitamin C causes the absorption of certain minerals and vitamins to increase several times. That’s why it’s highly recommended to eat a glass of jelly enriched with calcium, magnesium, and vitamin C every day.
Several studies have shown that regular consumption of jelly:
- prevents osteoporosis
- strengthens connective tissues in the joints
- lowers blood sugar
- gives elasticity and strength to tendons and ligaments
- boosts hair and nail growth
- maintains healthy skin
- improves metabolism
- strengthens joint and heart muscle
- increases mental abilities
Mix a teaspoon of powdered jelly with a glass of water, juice, or tea. Stir, you can also add some ground nuts (we recommend 5 walnut halves), and eat it. It is very important to eat at least one and no more than three such glasses per day. Studies confirm you can notice visible improvement in your health after just 2 weeks, and after 6 months your health can completely recover.
Autumn and winter are the hardest time for joints, especially for people sensitive to weather changes.
