At the Institute of Medical Sciences in Iran, a test was conducted on 88 overweight women. They were all given 500 calories less food than ideal, but half of them were also given a cup of low-fat yogurt mixed with a spoon of freshly ground cumin.
After one week, the researchers were more than surprised. Even though the participants ate the same food, those who received the yogurt lost weight three times faster than the others. Additionally, the amount of body fat decreased by 14% (unchanged in the others). Even the level of bad cholesterol was twice as low as before the test. Furthermore, all participants felt better, full of energy.
It is very clear that cumin contains substances that positively affect our health. Therefore, if possible, try to add as much cumin to your dishes.
