Do you know which part of the body hurts when you lack vitamin D?

Vitamin D is a very important vitamin, mainly obtained through sunlight, but also from milk, cereals, orange juice, eggs, fish oil...

Vitamin D deficiency is more common in winter and presents a risk to the whole body. It can weaken the immune system, increase bone fragility, and even affect insulin regulation. Studies show that vitamin D deficiency can also increase the risk of arthritis, with most common issues related to bones, joints, and muscle development.

If you notice any of these symptoms, especially joint pain in the hips, knees or other joints (usually pain that disappears after a few minutes), the reason could be a lack of vitamin D. If these short-lived pains are accompanied by nervousness, irritability, or depression, we recommend spending more time in the sun.

Remember that you can improve your condition with just a 20-minute relaxing walk in nature.
