Watermelons are known diuretics, and lately, we've been discovering many other benefits they offer. If you add a stalk or two of celery, which has similar properties, you get a surprising detox drink.
Ingredients:- 1/4 watermelon
- 1 pear
- 1 grapefruit
- 2 stalks of celery
- 2 tablespoons of honey
Preparation:Peel the watermelon and cut it into smaller pieces. It’s okay if there’s some white flesh from the rind, as it will add a bit of acidity to the drink. Also, chop the celery into smaller pieces, remove the seeds from the pear, and gently warm the honey to make it easier to mix into the drink. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend just enough to achieve a liquid consistency.
Before serving, you can add some crushed ice and chopped parsley.
