Ginger helps with weight loss for several reasons. It stimulates thermogenesis, which means it boosts heat production, warms the body, and thereby speeds up the melting of fat. Additionally, it speeds up metabolism and cleanses the body, which means it literally consumes and eliminates fat.

Furthermore, ginger controls cortisol and insulin levels in the body, and also serves as an excellent source of energy. If you are feeling unwell or tired, drink ginger tea and after 10 minutes your mood will be noticeably better.

To boost the effect of ginger during the summer months and especially to speed up the weight loss process, experts recommend drinking 3 to 5 cups of ginger tea daily. For it, you will need the following ingredients:
  • 3 to 5 teaspoons of green or white tea
  • 3 to 5 cm of ginger
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • 3 mint leaves for each cup
Preparation:

Pour a little more water into a pot than you need for the number of cups of tea. Chop the ginger into smaller pieces. Heat the water and let it boil for 10 minutes.

Then remove the ginger water from the heat, add the tea, cover, and wait for the mixture to cool down.

Once the ginger tea cools down to about room temperature, add lemon and some mint leaves.

And how do you lose weight?

It is important to drink one cup of ginger tea 20 to 10 minutes before meals, and after a good week the reflection on the scale will look much better. Those who also limited their food intake a bit reported losing 3 to 5 kilograms per week without any problems.

And the downside of this diet: those who have already tried it report that the kilograms lost at the start of the summer return within a month after ending the diet. But who cares, as summer will already be over by then.
