6 healthy ingredients you should never eat together
If you combine even the healthiest ingredients, you can do more harm than good to your body. The problem lies in the absorption of minerals that our body soaks up.
Spinach + dairy products
Oxalates found in spinach and Swiss chard prevent the absorption of calcium in the body, and dairy products also prevent the body from absorbing nutrients from green vegetables. It is much better to combine green vegetables with coconut milk, but ideally just with a bit of olive oil and garlic.
Beans + red wine
If you feel you lack iron, never combine wine with hot chocolate, coffee, beans, green leafy vegetables, and nuts. All these ingredients prevent the body from absorbing tannin, which is the most important element in wine. Without tannin and antioxidants, there is not much benefit left from wine.
Walnuts + soy
Phytates in nuts, seeds, and whole grains prevent iron absorption in the body, so do not combine them with tofu and other soy products. Do not combine walnuts, cashews, or sesame seeds with soy.
