Did you know that parsley was once used in tea, and with it, they treated diabetes, high blood pressure, anemia, kidneys, liver, even colon cancer ...

Parsley is rich in folic acid, vitamins A, C, and E, contains a lot of minerals, and has numerous health benefits. The origin of parsley is the Middle East, where it was primarily used for detoxification and purifying the body. As early as the Middle Ages, people knew that after a heavy, fatty, and wine-filled dinner, they should drink a cup of parsley tea, because it would cleanse them, strengthen their immune system, and improve their well-being and health.

Parsley tea is good for all problems related to the kidneys, it prevents salt absorption in tissue, protects the liver, guards against bladder infections, prevents colon cancer, and very effectively cleanses the body. With parsley tea, you can reduce the level of bad cholesterol, it helps lower high blood pressure, soothes the intestines, improves digestion, and relieves bloating. Since parsley is also rich in iron, drinking the tea is recommended for anemia, and among the very beneficial properties of this tea is also that it eliminates bad breath.

You can make parsley tea from either fresh or dried parsley. First, boil the water, remove the pot from the heat, and then add the parsley. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then add some lemon juice and, if desired, a teaspoon of honey.

It is recommended to drink at most two cups a day, and only in the morning, because you will have to go to the bathroom more frequently. Therefore, it is not advisable to drink such tea in the evening, nor should pregnant women drink it.
