How to Choose the Right Raisins

Today, it’s not easy to find unsprayed raisins without added sulfur dioxide. Don’t buy very bright and yellowish raisins. Bright color is almost certainly due to sulfur dioxide. Also, avoid "shiny" raisins, as they are often chemically treated. Quality raisins are dull, wrinkled, neither too soft nor too hard. The raisins’ grains should be intact, and the color should be dark brown (although this depends on the type of grape).

Liver Cleansing - Recipe

Achieving the cleansing effect of raisins is quite simple.

In the morning, rinse a handful of raisins under running water, then put them in a glass and fill it to the brim with warm water. Let the raisins sit in the water for at least 10 hours (or even longer), and consume them on an empty stomach along with the water (preferably the next day).

It’s highly recommended that you rest for an hour or two before having breakfast and starting your day. For this reason, this method is ideal for doing over the weekend.

Nutritionists recommend doing the raisin cleanse once a week and no more than 4 times in a row, with two such cleansing treatments a year being more than enough.
