Ingredients:
- 1 cucumber
- 250 ml water
- 1 lemon
Wash the cucumber and peel it if desired. Slice it into rounds, add lemon juice and water, and blend everything together into a liquid drink.
Drink half a glass on an empty stomach, half an hour before breakfast, and the other half half an hour before lunch. Do this every other day, but no more than 3 times a week.
Such a drink consists of 95% water, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C, K, and the minerals calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc. Besides strengthening the immune system, this drink also prevents heartburn, cleanses the body very effectively, and greatly reduces bad breath.
An even healthier combination would be if you added carrot, pineapple, and celery to cucumber and lemon. This could be a healthy substitute for lunch.
One more note: cucumber contains the most vitamins in the peel, but this makes the drink taste more bitter, and you will need to blend for at least 2 to 3 minutes longer. Therefore, peel the cucumbers only if you don't like the taste with the peel.
