Ingredients:
- a handful of strawberries
- a handful of blueberries or other berries (raspberries, blackberries, currants)
- 1 orange
- 1 banana
- 1 dl of yogurt or (homemade) kefir
- juice of half a lemon
Put all the ingredients in a blender, and if desired, you can add a bit of honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar. This amount will provide you with enough energy for the day (depending on the size of the handful), so we recommend drinking this smoothie in the morning. It is important to refrain from eating for at least two hours after consuming it (you can only drink plain water) so that your body can absorb the nutrients and energy from the drink.
A word of caution: Due to the high fruit content, avoid drinking this beverage after 6 p.m.
