1. Water instead of juice
Many people forget that drinks also have calories. Some even have a lot. At the top of the list are fruit juices, beer, and of course, all kinds of sugary drinks. While fruit juices at least contain some vitamins and minerals in addition to calories, drinks with artificial sweeteners will not offer you many healthy ingredients. Even if they advertise added vitamins. Artificial vitamins are dead vitamins, and they are of no use.
Here’s another good thing to know about water: pure water is the only liquid that stays in tissues and thus cleanses the body, improves metabolism, and helps the function of internal organs.
2. Say no to bread and pasta
White rice, bread, pasta, and other baked goods have a lot of carbohydrates, which cause fat accumulation in the body. It is much better to eat healthy vegetables instead. The problem is only with simple carbohydrates, which quickly turn into sugar and further speed up fat accumulation. Complex carbohydrates act in the body similarly to fats (the body digests them over several hours), making them much less harmful.
There is a simple trick to turn simple carbohydrates into complex ones. If you cannot give up potatoes, for example, it is much better to eat potato salad. You can also significantly lower the amount of simple carbohydrates in rice by cooking it a day in advance, letting it stand overnight, and reheating it the next day.
3. Physical activity
Too much exercise is also not good for the body, as it can cause overload shock. Ideally, you should exercise enough to burn 200 to 300 calories, then take a break for one to two hours and repeat the exercise. If you do this 3 to 4 times a day, you will lose 1,000 calories a day just with exercise. It sounds like a lot, but keep in mind that you have to lose 7,700 calories to lose one kilogram. That’s why losing weight is so hard ...
4. Coffee
Coffee can also be a very helpful tool when losing weight, but only if it’s without milk and sugar. All you need to do is take a sip of coffee before your workout, wait 10 to 15 minutes, and then start exercising. Coffee improves metabolism, increases endurance, and most importantly, can increase the amount of calories burned by up to 3 times!
5. Half an hour more sleep
You can also lose weight by sleeping more. If you go to bed at least half an hour earlier every day, your digestion will improve, which is crucial for any healthy weight loss. There is no weight loss without healthy bowel movements, plus your body will be more relaxed in the morning, full of strength and energy. Just one morning of stress without breakfast can undo all your efforts from this week to get rid of excess weight.
