The British BBC has recently revealed the secret to living 100 years and more. First, they asked several nutritionists for their opinions, and their solution seems simple and might even really work.
The BBC says we should eat at least 10 meals a day.
Don’t scoff that this isn’t possible. Probably not today, not tomorrow either, but after a few days the body gets used to always having enough food and completely forgets about three main meals (let alone two, for those who don’t have time to eat more often during work).
But the secret is not just in the number of meals, but also in the quantity. Namely: the optimal meal is 100 grams of fruit or vegetables, which means a meal is already just one apple, or pear, or a few spoons of spinach, peas, broccoli ...
According to the BBC, meals smaller than 200 grams are completely harmless to the heart and blood vessels.
Meals smaller than 800 grams are completely harmless regarding the development of cancer.
Meals smaller than 500 grams do not influence an increase in cholesterol or blood pressure.
Meals smaller than 200 grams are in no way dangerous and actually encourage the body to be more active, so they don’t cause weight gain, and the body optimally uses everything it gets (well, everything that’s healthy). Smaller meals also mean less risk of DNA damage ...
And the BBC reminded of one more small detail.
All this only applies if you don’t mix more than 3 ingredients in one meal (ideally, just 2).
The British say that everyone who stuck to such a diet for at least 3 days never gave up.
You don’t have to wait 100 years for results.
But you can, too.
