That’s why we suggest you start your day with this drink, which, in addition to providing enough oxygen in your blood, also balances your pH, reduces the risk of heart diseases, and brings many other benefits.
This drink also has another important quality: considering the benefits it brings, it is relatively inexpensive.
Ingredients needed:
- 1 grapefruit
- 10 blueberries or blackberries or raspberries (yes, they can be frozen)
- 5 cm piece of ginger root
- 1 dcl mineral water
Squeeze the grapefruit, add the berries, grate the ginger, and pour everything over with mineral water. An important detail: the drink should not be too cold (room temperature is ideal).
Drink this every morning on an empty stomach for at least 2 weeks. In the third week, drink it every other day, and in the fourth and fifth week, every third day (so, twice a week). After that, take at least a month’s break.
How does the drink work?
Berries are high in iron and antioxidants, especially flavonoids, which eliminate fat buildup in the arteries. Grapefruit is a citrus fruit rich in vitamin C. In addition to reducing appetite, fresh grapefruit juice is rich in vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system and your blood vessels. Ginger also plays an important role, acting as an anti-inflammatory and an excellent natural ally for heart health.
And the combination of these ingredients has another property: the high iron and other healthy elements stimulate the production of new red blood cells – erythrocytes. These are nucleus-free blood cells that supply the body with oxygen.
Do not overdo it with this drink. The amounts mentioned are fully sufficient and are in line with the other components.
