When, in 1980, the first study on the impact of nitrates on our health was conducted in California, USA, people around the world were shocked. They proved that eating 12 hot dogs per month increases the risk of developing leukemia and other forms of cancer by 9 times. A series of studies that followed only further confirmed the dangers of nitrites, which are found in absurd quantities in sausages and also in meat.
In 1987, the study was repeated in the hope that things had normalized. Nutritionists clearly and loudly stated that smoked meat, sausages, and other processed meat products cause tumor growth, stomach cancer, intestinal cancer... Instead of raising alarm, the meat food industry became more and more profitable every year.
In 1994, a clear link between salt and cancer in children was proven; it was even found that, among pregnant women, consumption of smoked meat and sausages doubles the risk of developing leukemia and brain tumors.
Today we know that too much salt causes tumors and cancer of the bladder, rectum, esophagus, stomach, harms the pancreas, and even inhibits brain development. Nitrites are considered the most dangerous compounds, and the situation has become critical.
Today, nutritionists recommend that children should not eat more than 50 grams of sausages per week, and for adults, this limit is 100 grams.
It is up to you to decide whether you will continue to eat industrial meat products.
