What do your feet say about your health?
For thousands of years, the Chinese have known that the feet are also a reflection of health, while in Europe we hardly know anything about it.
Cold Feet
If you have cold feet every day for a whole week, then you definitely have circulation problems. This can be a result of thyroid gland dysfunction; often it is a sign of poor heart function, which leads to high blood pressure, and in smokers, it can be a sign of lung issues that prevent adequate oxygen absorption. Constantly cold feet are a serious sign to visit a doctor.

Itchy Feet
Itching is usually the beginning of a fungal infection, caused by poor hygiene and improper footwear. To a lesser extent, foot sweating can also depend on diet, but changing shoes will do the most for your health. When dealing with itching, always keep in mind that fungi are more stubborn than you think, and nails are their favorite means of reproduction.

Changed Shape of Toes and Nails
If you pay closer attention, you may see that your toes are different every day. What's more, the shape of the foot also changes throughout the day (compare your toes in the morning and in the evening!). If the difference is obvious, then the main cause is a lack of oxygen in the blood, indicating problems with the lungs, heart, or kidneys.

Swollen Ankles
Our feet can swell after prolonged walking or being on our feet all day. This is a normal reaction. If your feet swell for no reason, it may be due to high blood pressure, diabetes, a reaction to medication, even food (legumes are a common trigger). Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, or other underlying conditions could also be the cause. Don't try to reduce the swelling on your own because it is just a symptom. By solving the main problem, the swelling will also disappear. If you reduce the swelling without addressing the main issue, you are just ignoring the problem.

Foot Cramps
Frequent leg cramps are an obvious sign of diabetes, nerve problems, stress, or circulatory issues. If you also feel a burning sensation, it usually occurs when you overwork (not just physically, but mentally too). You need more sleep (not just lying down!).

Pain in the Big Toe
Pain in the big toe and stiff joints is almost certainly a sign of uric acid accumulation in the joints, indicating problems with fluid excretion. If you don't pay attention to your diet, the problems can spread to other joints. The pain can be excruciating and is also the first sign of rheumatoid arthritis.
