There are many recommendations for a healthy drink before breakfast. Among the most healing and popular is a teaspoon of olive oil mixed with the juice of half a lemon. However, this time we present another combination that is equally healthy and provides energy for the whole day.
Tomato juice is full of minerals and vitamins, it has strong antioxidant and cleansing properties, contains only 35 calories per 100 grams, and acts as a mediator in removing toxins from the body. Tomatoes prevent inflammation, have a low caloric value, and are an excellent diuretic (a substance that promotes urination). Another property to mention: freshly squeezed tomato juice actively dissolves fat deposits.
Due to the listed properties, just drinking tomato juice for breakfast is not enough. It is recommended to eat a breakfast rich in fiber and proteins at least 20 minutes after the juice. We recommend oatmeal, eggs, and plenty of fruit (green apples are an ideal choice).
Tomato juice is also a laxative. It lowers cholesterol and strengthens the heart muscle. Due to minerals and enzymes, it improves circulation and prevents the formation of clots in the body.
If you drink the juice regularly, you will notice a difference on the scale after just one week, and long-term consumption will keep your health in good condition.
How to prepare tomato juice?
We recommend starting your day with 200 grams of tomatoes in a blender and adding spices (salt, pepper - be brave and use plenty of pepper; thyme, maybe even dried parsley...), and if desired, a teaspoon of olive oil. If you want to make the juice even healthier, you can also throw in a garlic clove.
You can safely store such juice in the fridge for a few days, just make sure the container is well sealed and do not store it in a metal container.
