Roasted red pepper in homemade tomato sauce with basil – gluten-free, LCHF-friendly, and equally delicious hot or cold.

Ingredients:
- long red pepper
- fat for roasting
- garlic
- tomato
- spices (cumin, turmeric, sugar, pepper, salt)
- a few fresh basil leaves

Preparation:
Thoroughly clean the peppers and roast them in the fat. Once they are well-roasted on both sides, transfer them to another dish. In the same fat, saut{-15447} the chopped garlic and then add the tomato cut into small pieces. Saut{-15447} everything together for about 8 minutes. Finally, add a bit of pepper, ground cumin, turmeric, sugar, and salt. Pour the prepared sauce over the roasted peppers and add fresh basil leaves.

You can serve the dish hot, but it's even better cold.

Peppers prepared this way are gluten-free and made according to LCHF guidelines.
