The diet for the lazy means you don't have to exercise, nor do you have to thoroughly change your diet, and after 5 days you'll be 5 kilograms lighter. Oh, and you must not be hungry... Sounds promising, right?
 
Losing weight without effort is a populist headline, but it hides a grain of truth. The diet was originally created for those who, for various reasons, cannot move enough (pregnant women, hospital patients, even the elderly), but it quickly became apparent that it can also benefit those who come home tired and whose favorite friends are the fridge and the TV.

Believe me, it's worth thinking about the rules below. The sooner you start following them, the more grateful your figure will be.

Rule number 1: drink enough water
Water is a very important factor in weight loss. Only if the body has enough fluids can it also lose weight. So drink as much as possible, or a little more than what's optimal for your figure.



When drinking, keep in mind... 20 minutes before every meal, even before a snack, drink a glass of warm water, and one hour after a meal (even the smallest ones), drink a cup of green tea.

Rule number 2: diet
The good thing about the diet for the lazy is that you must never starve yourself and never be hungry. You have to eat at least 5 meals, and always at the same time every day! It's true that you can eat between 8am and 8pm, but not in between. Also, you must not eat anything made of flour, nothing fried, nothing from animal fats, and nothing sweet. You really have to stick strictly to this rule, as even just a spoonful of sugar can ruin all your effort.

With this rule, it's important to stick with it for at least 5 days, then you can treat yourself a little on some days. But don't overdo it. If your craving for sweets gets too strong, mix plain yogurt with a spoon or two of honey. Salads also reduce the craving for sweets...

Rule number 3: eat only as much as you can hold in your fist
We are all different and it's hard to prescribe the same amount of food for someone who weighs a hundred kilos and is two meters tall and for someone who is smaller. That's why nutritionists suggest that your fist is the optimal measure (3 fists for breakfast and lunch, 2 fists for dinner, and 1 fist for each snack). Portions should be as big as you can hold in your fist. This method only measures food that isn't vegetables; with vegetables, limit anything that grows underground (especially potatoes). The only thing you can eat in unlimited amounts is green vegetables (spinach, lettuce, broccoli…).

And calories... Count them. You must not eat more than 80 percent of the recommended daily amount. In practice, this means you should eat 500 calories less per day than recommended.



If you follow these rules, many nutritionists guarantee that you will lose 5 kilograms in 5 days.
