The more we eat, the hungrier we get. Here is food that, instead of making you feel full, creates the feeling of an empty stomach

More than true hunger, which is actually very rare, it is problematic hunger in the mind that is the issue. Hunger is a complex web of reactions in the stomach, intestines, pancreas, blood, and brain. This is why it is good to know the worst appetite stimulants, so you can avoid them.

1. White bread

White bread and baked goods are made from flour where the grains have had their husks removed — the part containing vitamins and fiber. The flour then becomes just a fluffy sack of carbohydrates, which, half an hour after eating it, leaves you hungrier than before. That's why white bread causes obesity, blood sugar problems, clogs arteries, burdens the heart...

2. Fruit juices

Don't be fooled by the vitamins and minerals on the label. None of it will do you any good if the juice has no fiber or cellulose. That's exactly why you'll be hungrier after industrial fruit-vitamin juices than full. The same trap awaits with vegetable juices. Also, watch out for calories.

3. Salty snacks

Many people can't sit in front of the TV without salty snacks. Because we don't pay attention to the quantity, it's easy to overeat. But have you ever wondered why you can never get full from chips, pretzel sticks, pretzels, or corn puffs? The reason is simple: salty snacks have extremely low nutritional value, and the carbohydrates only increase blood sugar and insulin, which causes hunger. The more salty snacks you eat, the hungrier you'll be.

Double portions also have twice as many calories, and trans fats increase appetite. You’ll never really fill up from a single hamburger, let alone a double.

5. Artificial sweeteners

Many people use artificial sweeteners because they have fewer calories, but forget that they still cause an increase in insulin, which stimulates appetite. Research shows another phenomenon: most people who use artificial sweeteners feel they've saved enough calories to justify an extra meal.

6. Instant meals

Instant meals contain a lot of salt and are usually made from wheat noodles with a high glycemic index. These meals also contain a lot of monosodium glutamate, which increases the risk of obesity and is considered a dangerous food additive. It can cause brain cell damage, numbness, nausea ...
