7 types of vegetables that heal the body

Today, as more and more people turn to natural solutions for maintaining good health, it is important to recognize the power that food has on our bodies. We present to you seven types of vegetables that not only enrich our diet, but also heal and strengthen our bodies.
  1. Spinach – green power for blood and skin
    Spinach is a real treasure trove of nutrients. In 100 grams of raw spinach, we find about 2.7 mg of iron, which is key for the formation of red blood cells and the transport of oxygen throughout the body.     Flax seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and lignans, which act as phytoestrogens. Regular consumption of flax seeds can help lower cholesterol, regulate blood sugar levels, and ease menopausal symptoms.

    For the best effect, it is recommended to grind flax seeds before consuming them, as this allows the body to absorb nutrients more easily.

  3. Red onion – more than just flavor
    Red onion contains powerful antioxidants such as quercetin, which has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. Studies have shown that extracts from red onion can inhibit the growth of cancer cells.

    Additionally, it is rich in vitamins B6 and C and potassium, which are important for metabolism, nervous system function, and regulating blood pressure.

  4. Mushrooms – natural immune boosters
    Mushrooms such as shiitake, maitake, and oyster mushrooms are rich in beta-glucans, which strengthen the immune system. Moreover, they are the only plant source of vitamin D, which is essential for bone health and immune function.

    Regular consumption of mushrooms is linked to a reduced risk of developing certain types of cancer, including breast cancer.

  5. Garlic – natural antibiotic

  7. Lemon – sour but healing
    Lemons are an excellent source of vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system, helps with iron absorption, and acts as an antioxidant.

    Besides, the citric acid in lemons aids digestion and may reduce the risk of kidney stones.
