Some time ago, American nutritionist Herbert M. Shelton repeated a test conducted by the ancient Roman physician Celsus millennia ago. Both researchers asked participants to write down the combination of foods they had eaten that day and assess how they felt. Shelton had already warned people that the combination of tomatoes and cucumbers can cause bloating, but when consumed separately, both ingredients are very healthy.
Although every organism reacts differently, it quickly became clear after just a few days that there is another harmful combination known as Shelton's syndrome. This refers to the combination of meat and milk, including all dairy products.
Milk itself contains proteins and fats, which are not ideal for digestion. When we eat a piece of meat and then drink milk, the milk fats spread across the stomach, enveloping each piece of food and hindering stomach acids from breaking them down. This results in the body receiving fewer vitamins and minerals, while any excess food is immediately converted into storage that the body will later process (though it actually never does!).
In general, when lactic acid comes into contact with animal proteins, the metabolic process is halted by 74%!
This means that dairy products inhibit the metabolism of phosphorus and zinc, crucial for every immune system, and have a particularly severe impact on iron, directly impeding the flow of oxygen to cells.
Do not think that the problematic combination is limited to just milk and meat. Similar issues arise with all types of cheeses, yogurt, cottage cheese, butter, sour cream... At best, after consuming this combination, you may experience nausea, possibly even vomiting.
Milk, in general, has similar effects on everyone. Any type of combination never turns out well, so never mix dairy products with other foods. Always consume them separately, with at least a 20-minute gap before and after consumption.
So...
Do not combine tomatoes and cucumbers, as they utilize the same enzymes for different breakdowns, and do not mix animal proteins with dairy, as this completely halts digestion.
At the very least, it causes weight gain!
