The advantage of the soup diet is that in two weeks you will saturate your body with essential nutrients, you will intake plenty of vitamins and minerals, and its most important feature is that this diet increases intestinal mobility and normalizes metabolism in the body.
Vegetable soup contains a lot of fiber, which, among other things, cleanses the body. At the same time, you will feel fuller and more satisfied.
It is also important that throughout the day you drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water, evenly distributed throughout the day. You should never be thirsty!
Dr. Mitchell’s diet menu is as follows:
Day 1: In addition to the soup, you can eat fruit, but not bananas or grapes. In the meantime, drink unsweetened green tea, cranberry juice, but water is best.
Day 2: In addition to the soup, eat the same amount of salad made from fresh vegetables. For dinner, have a large baked potato drizzled with vegetable (olive) oil. Fruit is forbidden on this day.

Fat-Burning Soup
The key ingredient of this diet is the soup, but it is not an ordinary soup. Here is the recipe:
- 1 celery root
- 1/2 kg carrots
- 1/2 kg green beans
- 6 large onions
- 2 green peppers
- 1 heaping tablespoon of cabbage
- 1.3 liters of tomato juice
- 800 grams of fresh pureed tomatoes
- 800 grams of low-fat beef broth. You can also use vegetable broth or bouillon cubes.
Chop the vegetables into small cubes. Pour the broth over them and cook for 10 minutes on high heat. When the water boils, reduce the heat and cook for another 30 minutes.
