Horseradish is the most widespread and universal folk remedy in the world. Its effects are particularly pronounced if consumed on an empty stomach. How to prepare a morning drink from horseradish?
Take half an apple and grate it. Add freshly grated horseradish (enough to get a moderately thick mixture - usually about half as much as the apple, or 2 to 4 grams), a tablespoon of honey, and a deciliter of homemade wine (pay attention that the wine is truly homemade with as few chemicals as possible to avoid a headache - sulfur and the like).
Why would such a drink be good instead of breakfast?
The alcohol in the wine will ensure that the nutrients enter the bloodstream as quickly as possible. The apple and honey will provide vitamins, while the horseradish has a cleansing effect. If you feel a cold coming on, you will likely ward it off with just one preparation. It also helps with the flu and many respiratory diseases. Horseradish destroys intestinal bacteria, regulates digestion, blood pressure, sugar levels, cleanses the skin, improves the appearance of nails and hair, and many believe it also helps in cancer treatment. Among all foods, horseradish most significantly promotes circulation and healing.
And finally, a pharmacy recommendation: horseradish should not be consumed more than is appropriate in the diet. The difference between food and medicine lies in the frequency of consumption. Medicine should be rare enough in the diet to remain effective as medicine.
