Exposure to (too) big temperature differences can be harmful and dangerous for your health. So cool down wisely ...

If you want to cool down, you must first consider a basic and single condition: avoid the sun. After that, you can use one of these methods:

1. Ice
Ice definitely cools us down, but you need to place it at specific points, otherwise the effect will be short-lived or nonexistent. The key is to put ice on areas where the blood vessels are closest to the skin's surface: wrist, neck, chest ... When your blood temperature drops, you will also feel better.

2. Coconut water
Do a test and you will see that coconut water cools you up to 3 times faster than regular water, and in addition, it contains many other minerals and vitamins. The secret to fast cooling is in the structure of coconut water.

And an interesting fact ... Coconut water cools down even in the sun. Why this is so, scientists have not figured out yet.

3. Mint tea
Not hot, and not cold either. It should be cooled down to room temperature. Mint tea successfully quenches thirst and produces a cooling effect in the body. You only need to make sure that you drink enough fluids.

4. Smartly placed fans
If you place the fan so that it blows directly on you, you have chosen the worst option. Air should never blow directly at you. Place fans around the room so that you speed up air movement and create a breeze. For better effect, you can also put a pitcher or bowl of cold water in front of the fan, so it evaporates, humidifies, and cools the room.

5. Egyptian cooling method
In Egypt, it is often very hot, so thousands of years ago they discovered that by covering themselves with damp clothing, scarves, cloths, the evaporation of water slows down. In extreme heat, pay particular attention to your head, which is the most exposed to heat.

6. Pets
Pets always bring us joy, and those of you whose four-legged friends sometimes crawl under the blanket know they are little heaters that make your winter evenings nicer, but in summer make sure they find their spot somewhere else ...

7. Urine color
The easiest way to check whether your body has enough water is by the color of your urine. If it’s almost colorless, you’re fine; if not, you need to drink more water. Avoid alcohol, sugar, caffeine, and do not chug (try a sip every 10 seconds—or more).
