Try considering the following tips:
- 1. Pizzas with a thinner crust are better because they have less dough, less flour, and fewer carbohydrates, which can raise blood pressure and insulin levels, and also less salt and, of course, fewer calories. Whole-grain flour pizzas are a good choice.
- 2. Cut the pizza into smaller slices. Not that you'll eat less, but you'll eat more slowly, giving your body more time to digest. This way, you'll gain less weight than if you devour it in under 20 minutes. Never overeat pizza, as that only means more extra pounds.
- 3. Reduce the amount of cheese. Ask the pizza maker if they could use more Parmesan instead of the usual cheese (a tablespoon contains only 22 calories).
- 4. Remove excess fat. Believe it or not, there's a simple way to get rid of the excess fat that sometimes floats on the surface. Any excess fat isn't good for your health or your figure. You can simply blot the excess fat with a paper napkin. This blotting is very effective, making the pizza significantly healthier. Don't be embarrassed to do it.
