The Candida fungus is found on the skin, in the digestive and genital tract, in the mouth and throat. People live with it our whole lives and we can never get rid of it. Due to the decline of the immune system, antibiotics or improper diet, which causes acidity in the body, excessive reproduction of candida occurs, which is called an infection.

Candida thrives best in warm and moist areas (mouth, intestines). It is a very persistent fungus and, if you manage to control an outbreak once, it usually reoccurs several times.

Fortunately, there are simple ways you can control candida to prevent an outbreak. These methods will not save you from the problem (you will have to change your entire diet), but they will help prevent the bacteria from spreading again.

Candida does not like probiotic yogurts, sour milk, whey, all kinds of seeds, cold-pressed oil (especially olive!), turmeric, baking soda, gluten-free cereals. Avoid fermented foods, bread, everything made from white flour, coffee, dried fruit, cheese, a wide variety of sauces (mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise), milk, meat products and especially sugar. Sugar is one of the greatest acidifiers known to us!

1. Sage tea
Sage contains components that destroy candida very effectively. Drink it before every meal, and rinsing and gargling is especially effective. Cured candida in the intestines does not help you if the source of the infection is in the oral cavity.

2. Ivy tea
Ivy leaves have an antibacterial effect, and even a minimal amount can greatly reduce the prevalence of candida. However, since ivy is healthy for other things, and above all it relieves the symptoms of chronic diseases, we recommend that you drink it even if you think you have no problems.

3. Nettle tea
Nettle tea maintains the level of copper in the body, is a powerful diuretic and body cleanser. Since among other things it also helps with acidity, nettle tea is a great enemy of candida. Unfortunately, candida can only be curbed, but nettle tea alone cannot cure you completely.

4. Chicory tea
When the water boils, add a few tablespoons of chicory and let it boil for another 10 to 15 minutes. Drink slowly and in sips. Chicory does not contain caffeine, which causes acidity in the body, it is an excellent probiotic and a rich source of vitamins A and K. In addition, it cleans the blood, helps with digestion, regulates blood sugar...

5. Herbal mixture
If you mix the above teas into one, you will get a very effective remedy against this nasty fungus. It is good if you add walnut leaves and a bit of wormwood to sage, ivy, nettle and chicory tea. The tea prepared in this way is brewed as usual, only at the end cover the container and let it stand for at least an hour.

Drink teas unsweetened and several times in small sips.
