Eckelkamp decided to change her diet. Until recently, she was eating a banana and an apple for breakfast, but this did not give adequate results.
In an article published by Organic life, she wrote that after a banana and an apple she became hungry after about an hour, and not only that: she started to have a slight headache, felt tired, had pain in her legs, was more irritable, nervous. For a long time, she looked for reasons why she felt terrible, until she thought that it could all be the result of improper nutrition.
She talked to many nutritionists, each of them proposed a different solution, and in the end, she compiled her own menu from all the recommendations, which was approved by all the nutritionists she asked. No one had any comments.
She started with breakfast, which is rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals, is cheap and available all year round. The logical choice was, of course, eggs.
The first time she tried eating three eggs without additives, she found it too dry and too filling, but after a few days her body adjusted. In addition to protein, eggs also contain a lot of vitamins D, E, B and more than 12 important minerals.
On the third day of the egg breakfast, she scrambled the eggs and added some peas and corn.
On the fourth day, she added avocado and cilantro to these vegetables.
In the article, Eckelkamp emphasizes several times that this was her only food until lunch. A hearty breakfast is mandatory, but we must not spoil everything with morning "snacks", which unnecessarily burden our digestion, slow it down and which contain a lot of unnecessary things that accumulate around the stomach, hips, legs... At lunch, he says, she had no restrictions, but then she ate a little something in the afternoon and finished the day after 10 hours. She didn't eat anything after 6pm. when she felt hungry, she drank a glass of lukewarm water with a few drops of lemon.
She persisted with this rhythm for a week and lost 5 kilograms.
Then there was a week's break and she returned to her original food, and on the third week she started the rhythm again with three eggs for breakfast.
Today, it's been a few months since he insisted on three eggs for breakfast. She says that she lost 10 kilograms without any problems, her weight is stable, and she feels much better than before.
But maybe our problem is just that we know how to want the right things and we exaggerate in everything.
