Old German recipe with boiled lemon water
Germans have been using a tea-like drink recipe for centuries, which not only helps with colds but also treats the veins, lowers cholesterol, prevents infections, cleanses the liver...
German folk healers have long known lemon tea as an effective remedy that strengthens the immune system. In recent decades, the recipe has been further enhanced with ginger (previously they used horseradish), but no one thought this combination has such a strong impact on our health. Improvement in the immune system can be expected within a few hours after the first cup is consumed, and the drink effectively prevents calcification in the body, which can cause kidney stones and vascular blockages.

So, how to prepare boiled lemon water?

Ingredients:
  • 4 organic lemons
  • 3 to 4 centimeters grated ginger (can also use 2 tablespoons of ginger powder)
  • 4 large garlic cloves
  • 2 liters of water
Preparation:

First, wash the lemons well and cut them into quarters. Peel the garlic as well, and put them in a blender together with the lemons and ginger. Blend until you get a smooth mixture.

Then pour the mixture into a pot and add water. Once the water boils, remove from heat, cover the pot, and let the mixture cool down.

Once the mixture has cooled, strain it through a cheesecloth and drink a glass of this beverage every 2 hours. For a better taste, you can also add a teaspoon of honey.
