Pimples on the face are a result of food. Do you know which ones?
Pimples all over the body are a consequence of improper diet. They rarely occur just like that, so it's worth following these tips.
Although nutrition experts are still not unanimous about pimples and acne, no one disputes the connection between food and pimples. Pimples most commonly occur on the face, neck, shoulders, and often on the back. These areas have the highest density of sebaceous glands. Pimples occur when the body tries to expel harmful fats.

Research has shown that oily skin clogs pores. So pimples cannot form, and the body must remove harmful substances through other means, which is not always ideal. If new pimples appear on you, it is a sign that your body is functioning, and so are the cleansing systems.

Unfortunately, pimples often appear with the food you love the most. These are mainly sweets, cakes, pasta, or fries. The irresistible pitfall is sweet food (including food that breaks down into sugar in the body - mostly carbohydrates).

The most harmful foods are white bread, fries, chips, salty sticks. Also considered harmful is milk chocolate (the more milk it contains, the more pimples it causes). Fortunately, this does not apply to dark chocolate, which is an excellent antioxidant and fights against free radicals. Many nutritionists are skeptical about all types of chocolate, with the most common criticism being the short-lived medicinal effects. So, the biggest accusation against dark chocolate is that, although it is medicinal, its power quickly diminishes.

The same applies to almost all types of smoothies. It is much healthier to eat fruit whole and fresh instead of blending it, and let it ferment in the mouth with saliva.

Alcohol, carbonated drinks, and all industrial beverages are also among the common and major causes of pimples. Their problem is the extremely high content of simple sugars, which causes a variety of other issues. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid all of them.

Another type of food worth mentioning is food with high hormone levels, most of which are found in cow's milk. Therefore, milk and dairy products are also considered harmful, including yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, cream...

Trans fats are also harmful, mainly found in fried foods. This includes all fried meats, chips, greasy pancakes, waffles... The downside of these fats is that they promote inflammatory processes on the skin, but fortunately, their harmful effects can be completely neutralized by regularly consuming omega-3 fatty acids.

Foods high in saturated fatty acids, such as sausages, ice cream, mayonnaise, all types of meats, are also considered dangerous. Among other things, these foods also increase cholesterol levels, resulting not only in pimples but also in various other cardiovascular diseases.

For clear skin, nutrition experts also recommend an adequate amount of zinc (30 to 40 mg per day). In addition, consume as many fish as possible (fish have anti-inflammatory properties), and do not forget about regular and healthy sleep.

When you follow all of this, only then consider collagen, which has been proven to cleanse the skin and reduce the scars left by each pimple on the face. Without prior consideration of dietary instructions, collagen has no effect.
