Ingredients:
- 1 cup of hazelnuts
- 4 cups of water
- 5 pitted dates
- pinch of salt
- some vanilla for taste
First roughly grind the hazelnuts, then add finely chopped dates. Pour water over everything and let it sit overnight.
The next day, add salt and vanilla. Put everything in a blender and mix well, then strain through a cheesecloth (place the entire mixture in the cheesecloth, wrap it and gently squeeze out as much liquid as you can). Store the milk in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
We recommend drinking a cup of hazelnut milk every day.
You can use the remainder for a smoothie or pastry.
Hazelnut milk is rich in magnesium, selenium, calcium, manganese, has a lot of vitamin E and antioxidants. It is cholesterol-free and has no traces of antibiotics. If you mix a few tablespoons of cocoa into a glass of hazelnut milk, and for a thicker taste you can also add a banana, you will have an extremely delicious dessert with a creamy flavor.
