Hand test: Do you lack iron?
Are you tired? Do you have difficulty breathing? Do you have an elevated heart rate? Perhaps you are anemic? Check like this ...
Iron deficiency means a lack of red blood cells and therefore a lack of oxygen. Oxygen is very important and any decrease, especially if it lasts for a longer period, can be very dangerous. That is why it is good to remember this advice often, as you will quickly check how rich your blood is and react accordingly.

Iron deficiency causes shortness of breath, irregular heart rate, depression, headaches, pale skin, weakened memory ...

To avoid anemia, one should eat more rose hips, tomatoes, sesame seeds, spinach, beets, broccoli, beans, soy, shellfish ...

How to check the sufficiency of iron in the body?

First, clench both hands into fists and squeeze them tightly for 10 seconds. Then, extend your hands with palms up in front of you and spread your fingers wide. If you notice that the creases on the palms are lighter than the color of the rest of the skin, this could be a sign of oxygen deficiency. However, you can quickly correct this sign with one of the foods high in iron - a cup of rose hip tea is enough.

In the second part of the test, check the color of the half-moon at the base of the thumb nail. If the left half-moon is a different color from the right, then this is undoubtedly a sign of iron deficiency. If the half-moon is much paler (lighter) than the color of the nail, then this is also a sign of iron deficiency. The problem with these is that they are symptoms that cannot be quickly changed and indicate a picture that lasts for a longer period.

Finally: none of these tests can reliably measure the amount of iron in your blood like a doctor can. Such a test can only serve as a warning that you need to take some action.
