How to recognize dangerous tomatoes
Yes, it is possible to get poisoned with tomatoes. And to get poisoned severely and seriously!
Food poisonings are different, often rapid, acute, and highly burdensome for the body. Therefore, you need to react quickly, and above all, make sure not to dehydrate.

Recently, there have been many cases where people suddenly feel very sick (hundreds of cases have been reported in Germany). So much so that they even faint at the table. The cause of this is: tomatoes!

It is better to avoid dangerous tomatoes. Not everyone is lucky enough to not be affected by artificial colors, fertilizers, and growth enhancers. Toxicologists still do not know why this is happening, but they have formed some advice on what kind of tomatoes to buy:
  • If a tomato has white veins in its fleshy part, be cautious.
  • If a tomato is too elastic, this could be a sign of genetically modified produce.
  • If a tomato is odorless and has a plastic appearance, you have almost certainly encountered a suspicious crop.
  • Only natural produce, grown without chemicals, has a pleasant aroma and uniform color (yes, some crops add artificial coloring to make the products look juicier - do not buy these!).
In other words: if you see tomatoes with flaws, irregular shapes, and a fragrant smell, then appreciate that!
