Lactose: how to solve the problem that affects 75 percent of people
Lactose sensitivity is an extremely common occurrence. Most people are not aware of it, while for others, it causes significant problems.
The latest discoveries suggest that lactose could also be the culprit for the development of tumors, cancer, and other serious illnesses. Additionally, lactose sensitivity changes over the years, and it is concerning that the number of hypersensitive individuals under 20 years of age is rapidly increasing. Lactose intolerance among young people is becoming a serious issue.

Studies show that 75 percent of the global population has issues with milk and dairy products, with 5 percent experiencing extremely severe reactions. For most, milk causes elevated levels of stomach acid, bloating, digestive issues, and the main question is how to avoid these.

1. Give preference to fermented dairy products

Even with minor lactose sensitivity, undigested lactose starts accumulating in the colon, retaining water, increasing intestinal motility, and causing diarrhea. Furthermore, bloating and flatulence occur. Fermented dairy products such as yogurt, kefir, and cottage cheese have fewer of these issues since they contain very small amounts of lactose. Additionally, the active bacteria in yogurt and kefir aid in lactose digestion while being an excellent source of calcium, potassium, and proteins.

2. Consider milk alternatives

If you want to reduce milk consumption in coffee, pudding, cakes, consider using coconut, almond, or rice milk. Additionally, replace butter with, for example, coconut oil.

3. Probiotics improve lactose digestion
Probiotics are an excellent source of beneficial bacteria with a versatile positive impact on digestion, the immune system, and a variety of metabolic processes. Probiotics are often referred to as supportive therapy for the restoration of damaged gut flora.

4. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar helps reduce lactose sensitivity mainly because it accelerates digestion. It regulates stomach acid levels and has a beneficial effect on digestive issues that milk products can cause. Lactose-related problems can be significantly reduced by drinking a glass of water mixed with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar before meals.
