Post-Meal Weight Loss
Never eat until you're full, and instead of dessert, opt for this drink, which will help you maintain a slim figure.
Most diets and weight loss tips focus on eating less. But this time, we're introducing a completely new approach to weight loss: a drink you should consume after you’ve eaten.

It takes your body 20 to 60 minutes to absorb all the nutrients from food. The time varies depending on your metabolism. It’s crucial that you don’t burden your body with weight-loss drinks during this interval.

Once your body has absorbed all the essential nutrients, the right moment comes to break down excess fats. Unprocessed fats are the reason we gain weight. That’s why we recommend preparing the following drink about half an hour after your meal:

  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 grapefruit

Preparation:

It’s very important never to scoop honey with a metal spoon. Peel the grapefruit and try to keep as much of the white pulp as possible (this soft tissue contains a lot of fiber and vitamins). Blend the grapefruit and honey well in a mixer and drink it immediately.

If possible, do this after every meal, even if weight loss isn’t your primary goal. Grapefruits are packed with vitamins A, C, and E, as well as calcium, magnesium, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin... Grapefruits help regulate blood pressure, are full of antioxidants, improve digestion, hydrate the body (they're 91% water), and are full of healthy electrolytes. They also prevent asthma and play an important role in collagen production, which gives skin elasticity.
