The most important thing about fruit and vegetable drinks is the ratio, which is not randomly determined. After a series of independent studies, researchers finally agreed: these types of juices should be made with a ratio of 80:20 (there should be four times more vegetables than fruit). It's true that fruit is healthy, full of vitamins, and rich in minerals and fiber, but it also has a lot of sugar. On its own, it's rarely highly effective. The real power of fruit is revealed only when combined correctly with vegetables.
1. Cholesterol
One of the causes of high cholesterol is too many free radicals in the body. In such cases, you should eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. There are many recipes for lowering bad cholesterol, but here’s one that’s also beneficial for other things. You’ll need 4 parts of kale (or Brussels sprouts) and broccoli, and 1 part of watermelon. Blend everything well and drink it. All three ingredients have lots of antioxidants, vitamins, and watermelon is a mild diuretic, which helps cleanse the body. The juice is also pleasant in taste and works well in preventing colds and the flu. If you want to stay healthy throughout the winter, drink a glass of this juice at least 3 times a day.
2. Diabetes
There are foods that cause a similar reaction in the blood as insulin (lowering blood sugar). These include asparagus, avocado, black pepper, broccoli, carrots, cinnamon, cucumbers, fennel, garlic, ginger, grapefruit, celery, onions, leeks, pumpkins... One interesting anti-diabetes drink is a combination of carrot and cucumber, with a touch of tomato (due to its fruit acids, tomato is considered a fruit). If you decide to drink this juice regularly (it can be a great dinner substitute), try it first to see how your body reacts. Cucumbers are a strong diuretic, so don’t drink this right before bed. Trust me, you won’t get much sleep. Ideally, drink a glass of this juice two hours before going to bed.
3. Heartburn
Did you know that heartburn can lead to cancer? It most often occurs due to improper eating, choosing the wrong foods, or perhaps not taking enough time while eating. To avoid these issues, prepare a drink from spinach and carrots. This combination effectively soothes heartburn symptoms. Both vegetables have an alkaline effect in the body and neutralize stomach acids. Even if you don’t suffer from heartburn, you should try this juice. Spinach and carrots are great for neutralizing stomach acids and helping to detoxify the body.
4. High Blood Pressure
The chlorophyll in spinach lowers blood pressure, parsley purifies the blood, and carrots are full of antioxidants. If you regularly drink this juice, you'll significantly reduce blood pressure, cleanse your body, and strengthen your immune system.
5. Psoriasis
There are many recipes for fighting psoriasis, but the most effective combinations involve green vegetables (broccoli, kale, lettuce, chard, spinach, squash, beans, peppers ...) and oranges or carrots. We recommend mixing raw spinach and grated carrots. This juice is refreshing and nourishing, promotes wound healing, and helps regenerate internal organs and the skin. It’s also packed with vitamin C and antioxidants ...
