What Happens If You Drink Tomato Juice for Breakfast?
How you start your day sets the tone for the rest of it, and it significantly impacts your health and well-being.
There are plenty of tips for a healthy drink before breakfast. Among the most healing and popular is a teaspoon of olive oil mixed with the juice of half a lemon. However, this time, we present you with another combination that is equally healthy and gives you energy for the whole day.

Tomato juice is packed with minerals and vitamins, has strong antioxidant and cleansing properties, and 100 grams contain only 35 calories. It acts as an agent for removing toxins from the body. Tomatoes prevent inflammation, have low caloric value, and are an excellent diuretic (a substance that promotes the production of urine). One more characteristic worth mentioning: naturally squeezed tomato juice actively melts fat deposits.

Despite these benefits, just drinking tomato juice for breakfast isn’t enough. It’s recommended to eat a fiber and protein-rich breakfast at least 20 minutes after the juice. We suggest oatmeal, eggs, and plenty of fruit (green apples are an ideal choice).

Tomato juice also acts as a laxative. It lowers cholesterol and strengthens the heart muscle. Thanks to its minerals and enzymes, it improves circulation and prevents blood clots in the body.

If you drink the juice regularly, you’ll notice a difference on the scale after just one week, and long-term consumption will keep your health in good condition.

How to Prepare Tomato Juice?

We recommend starting your day with 200 grams of tomatoes, adding spices in a blender (salt, pepper—be bold and use plenty of pepper; thyme, and possibly dried parsley ...), and optionally a teaspoon of olive oil. If you want to make the juice even healthier, toss in a clove of garlic as well.

You can store this juice in the fridge for a few days without worry. Just make sure the container is tightly sealed and that you don’t store it in a metal container.
