Here are four examples.
1. Cereal
Breakfast cereal is probably the most widespread myth that, in reality, doesn’t hold up. Cereals are full of sugar and packed with calories. On top of that, you’ll be hungry again soon after eating them. If you must eat cereal for breakfast, go for those that have less sugar and fewer other additives (like salt and fats).
2. Energy Bars
Many people think energy bars are a good way to start the day. But they’re not. They are loaded with sugar and are a calorie bomb. Even if you make your own energy bars, remember that dried fruit is high in sugar, nuts are high in fat, and homemade bars often contain other high-calorie ingredients. If possible, avoid energy bars at any time of the day.

3. Meat
Always keep this in mind: not all meat is what you think it is. Can vegetarians celebrate this? The answer is no! Analyses show that meat products contain less and less actual meat. Be wary of smoked meats, bacon, sausages, hot dogs... Most meat products contain inhumane amounts of sodium, fat, and proteins that can cause rapid weight gain. Plus, with such foods, you’re practically inviting health problems to arise.
4. Juices
One of the classic breakfast clich{-15447}s is juice, which advertisements claim is full of vitamins, minerals, and boosts your immune system. All of this would be true if most juices weren’t drowning in tons of sugar. The only juices that are somewhat acceptable are freshly squeezed ones, but even then, every minute the juice sits, it loses its vitamin and mineral power. And don’t forget that fruit itself already contains a lot of sugar.
