If you haven't yet come across the trick to restore the taste of watermelon, making it sweet like honey, we're revealing this secret now. Don't dismiss it as nonsense; try it first and then judge.
So, how do you bring back the taste of watermelons? By salting them.
Yes, you read that right: salt enhances the sweet taste of watermelon, and it will bind the water, making the watermelon meatier and more delicious. Additionally, salt will cause more saliva to be produced in your mouth, making the watermelon taste even sweeter and more pleasant.
Of course, you shouldn't overdo it, as it can completely ruin the taste of the watermelon. Just a knife tip is enough for a whole slice (about 1 centimeter thick).
But you don't have to stop at salted watermelon. You can also experiment with pepper, which contains a huge amount of vitamin C (even more than lemon!) and other nutritious minerals. You can do the same with pineapple (check out the recipe for an incredibly healthy smoothie with pineapple and pepper).
Good luck with your experimenting.
