What to do with a lemon that no longer has juice
Don't throw away the peels of a squeezed lemon, because you'll be surprised at how many nutrients they have.
Have you ever wondered what the biggest difference between organically grown and regular lemons is? Regular lemons are sprayed with pesticides, so their peel is not suitable for use in the kitchen. Conditionally, you can use such lemons if you soak them overnight in a bath of 2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar.

You can also clean a lemon by washing it thoroughly and freezing it for a day.

Otherwise, lemon peel has 5 to 10 times more vitamins than lemon juice. The peel is packed with, and I mean really packed with, vitamins C, A, calcium, magnesium, and other components that inhibit the development of cancer metastases, especially in breast, colon, and skin cancers. Additionally, lemon peel regulates cholesterol, high blood pressure, and helps with osteoporosis...

How to consume lemon peel?

When you squeeze the juice from a lemon, cut the peel into the smallest possible pieces. Pour 3 dcl of water over the peel of two lemons and let it sit for 12 hours. Take a sip of this juice before and after meals. Also, take a sip every 3 hours.

In addition to the drink, you can grate some lemon peel into a salad, even into soup (vegetable soup will have a richer flavor), and also among steaks, squid, fish that you fry, or grill.

You can also grate lemon peel into tea and other beverages, but do this at least 10 to 15 minutes before consumption.
