How well do you know omega 7?
There is only one plant in the world known so far that contains all the omega fatty acids. This is what makes its oil so special.
The sea buckthorn is a shrub with orange-colored berries that contain the unique omega 7 fatty acid and is the only known plant in the world that contains all four unsaturated fatty acids – omega 3, 6, 7, and 9. It is rich in natural antioxidants that protect cells from oxidative stress.

Sea buckthorn oil is also referred to in scientific literature as liquid vitamin A because it contains a lot of carotenoids and is also rich in vitamins E, B, P, and K. This oil has been used for thousands of years for exhaustion, cardiovascular diseases, skin problems, stomach ulcers, and more recently, even in cancer treatment. However, its most potent effects are in supporting the mucous membranes, as it contains plant sterols, which are important components of cell membranes. Today, we know that omega 7 provides natural support to some internal organs: the intestines, vagina, eyes, and oral cavity. Often, the mucous membrane becomes dry, which is a consequence of aging and various other environmental factors. It is important to take action early enough.

In modern medicine, sea buckthorn oil is used in recovery after major surgeries and in exposure to radioactivity and other radiation. The shrub is considered a plant of the future, as laboratories are still discovering all its properties. The flavonols in it are absorbed significantly faster, making their effect more noticeable.
